Unclear switching responsibilities and isolation boundaries
Electrical Shutdown Services Singapore
ISS coordinates controlled electrical shutdowns for warehouses, industrial facilities and commercial buildings—protecting people, equipment and business continuity from isolation through restoration.

Control the risks before they become delays, defects or downtime.
ISS starts by understanding the operational requirement, physical site conditions, technical interfaces and expected handover outcome.
Operational downtime that affects tenants, production or logistics
Insufficient backup power, communication or restoration planning
A coordinated scope from survey to close-out.
The exact solution is confirmed after a site assessment and review of client, landlord and authority requirements.

Compliance responsibilities are defined before work starts.
Electrical work is carried out or supervised by an appropriately licensed electrical worker. The final method, switching sequence and testing requirements depend on the installation and the appointed LEW’s assessment.

Logistics facility shutdown coordination
ISS supports shutdown planning for live logistics operations where critical circuits, temporary generator backup, tenant activities and safe restoration must be coordinated within a controlled outage window.
- Defined switching and communication roles
- Temporary-power interfaces planned before shutdown day
- Testing and restoration incorporated into the programme
Important questions before requesting a quotation.
Why is an LEW required?+
EMA requires electrical installation work to be carried out or supervised by a Licensed Electrical Worker of the appropriate class. ISS coordinates the project around the appointed LEW’s technical authority.
Can ISS coordinate temporary generator backup?+
Yes. We can coordinate the generator, temporary distribution, cables, manpower, testing and transfer sequence according to the site requirement and appointed LEW’s instructions.
How early should shutdown planning begin?+
Lead time depends on the installation, stakeholders, backup-power scope and approval process. Early planning allows adequate surveys, load checks, notices and contingency preparation.
Can the work be scheduled outside operating hours?+
Yes. Shutdowns can be planned for nights, weekends or agreed low-activity periods, subject to access, approvals, manpower and equipment availability.
